Due the COVID-19 pandemic the following will be in place.

WHEN YOU VISIT THE PRACTICE

NHS England have made it advisory for face covering/mask to be worn when entering Hospitals and GP Surgeries.  If you are asked to attend the surgery please we recommend you wear a face mask or covering when entering the surgery.

AN APPOINTMENT WITH A CLINICIAN

We offer online consultation via the PATCHs tool which is on this website. Furthermore we would speak to all patients on the telephone so we can discuss your  problem .

How the appointments work.

Patient can call the surgery, receptionist will book a telephone call with the clinician who will contact patient

  1. The Clinician will call the patient and start a video consultation only if required.
  2. If the patient has booked via the website using PATCHs tool , the Clinician will call patient if required.
  3.  Face- to- Face appointment will be booked as appropriate/ patient choice.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PRACTICE AND ITS PATIENTS, WE ARE RESTRICTING FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS FOR PATIENTS WITH ANY COLD LIKE SYMPTOMS TO TELEPHONE ASSESSMENTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT.

FLU Vaccine 2022 – Appointments

We will be offering Flu Vaccines from Sept 2022. Look out for the walk in clinics and mass vaccinations which will be available on Saturdays.

CHS ( Child Health Surveillance ) and Post Natal Checks.

CHS & Post Natal checks are performed at Aveley Medical Centre & our Branch Surgery Bluebell Surgery in South Ockendon.

These appointments will be sent out from the practice. These check can be done 6 – 8 weeks  after baby is born.

You will still  be offered these appointments together for the same day  .

Appointment Cancellations

If you are not able to attend your appointment, please let us know. If you are late for an appointment, you may be asked to re-book.

You can use SystmOnline or NHS App to cancel your appointment, or by calling the surgery and selecting option 2.
